Last time (S21DX January 2009) many of you lends your hands for us to make the IOTA successful. Without your support it was not possible for us to do the IOTA back then.
With all your support we bought small generator, fuel, ropes etc. I am sure those of you monitoring and following us remembers that our signal was so poor and we couldn’t hear callsign of chasers clearly….. The reason for those were:
- We had no liner amplifier, we were running barefoot.
- Our 20years old beam refuse to work (we lost valuable time trying fixing it for days)
All 3000+ voice contacts we made with wire dipole hanging between coconut trees and vertical made with the spiderbeam mast. we were even short of antenna wires and feeders as we had to made individual 20m, 15m and 10m antenna to substitute the beam.
We are again going to take the challenge, we hope you will also be a part of it by lending your kind hand once again.
We need a beam antenna, linear amp, bandpass filter.
